So some moments with 2 year olds can't be caught on a camera but it is worth remembering. Jensen was outside playing this morning and I heard him coming in saying "I got poos". I went to meet him and the first thing I saw was a naked boy. Then I looked down and in one hand was a diaper and in the other was something brown. The first thing I thought was I hope that is dirt. ( how often do you wish your child is bringing a handful of dirt in the house) No such luck.. yep, in his hand was what should be in his diaper. GROSS!!!!

Boise Zoo!

On Wednesday we went to the zoo with Hagen's Joy school. The boys were so perfect we all had so much fun! I love my boys. We are making it without Shane...so far. Oh he is in Canada. He will be gone for 35 days! We love the military life!

Uncle Kyle came into town one weekend to have a guys weekend. He came to Hagen's game and Hagen was so excited he was there. The next Saturday at his game he was disappointed Uncle Kyle wasn't there. They went fishing the rest of the day. Hagen is always talking about him and loves him!

Hagen played soccer for the first time this spring. He had a lot of fun. He had a tendency to find animals in the clouds and he was really good at making it look like the other team pushed him down and he couldn't get up but it was fun. Shane enjoyed coaching his little team!

Bunny came early

Shane had to go to Silver Flag training over Easter so The bunny came early! Hagen got a new set of golf clubs and has had a blast going golfing with dad. He thinks he is so big and cool carrying his clubs!

Yesterday my friend had an idea for some pictures to take for earth day to put on her blog...she is a photographer. She called me up about 9pm last night and wanted me to come help her out. Here is what came of the binders. I put pictures of what the kids love all over the binders. It was so much fun! The best part was I had all of them laying on the floor to dry over night and Hagen came in the next morning with his binder showing me all the cool stuff. He totally picked his out and I did them after he went to bed. ( I don't know why they turned side ways.)

So guess where we were on Saturday night... if you can't tell, those are stiches. 4 to be exact. Little turkey! He was supposed to be in bed after a very naughty day and snuck out to get a drink in the bathroom and then we heard a boom and then screaming. I went running and saw the wound before it started bleeding and thought it would need stiches. He slipped while getting a drink. He pulls himself up on the counter and I think he missed the step stool trying to get down and bumped his chin and bit his tongue on both sides and in the front. His tongue bled the most. He is only 4 and has had stiches twice. This time he did so much better than the last. He cried when they numbed it but then he fell asleep while they put in the stitches and didn't wake up til the morning. Can you buy suture kits at Walmart?

New Car!!! I mean Van!!!

So the day after Christmas we bought a new vehicle. I was just going to post some pictures and then realized I haven't taken any yet. Who does that? So I'll tell you about it and then pics will come later.

We bought a tan 2009 Toyota Sienna. It is everything I wanted except it's a van. We were looking at crossovers first but they were so little inside. I finally decided that I would be ok with a van. It is true you don't feel like you are driving one when you are in it. Shane let me choose exactly what I wanted. It kinda stunk cuz if you know me you know I'm not good with decisions. I finally made him tell me what to get. We make a good team! We are very pleased with our purchase!!! I would have to say that was definately the biggest check I have ever written. We saved for so long and then, BOOM! it's gone. I love it though! It is an 8 passenger and has auto doors and I mentioned it is tan. That was mostly my criteria in finding a van. I don't know why it had to be an 8 passenger, I have no intention of ever filling it but just knowing I could get it, i wanted it!

Christmas 09

So Hagen got this military gun set. I knew he would love the guns but didn't know if he would play with the rest of it. Turns out the little grenades(how do you spell that?) were a big hit. He had our whole house blown up within a few hours. (don't judge us...we are in the military)

This was his face every time I handed him a new present. He had so much fun!

We had a wonderful Christmas! We stayed home this year and loved it. We hung out with our friends quite a bit and the boys loved Christmas day!

Hagen is 4!

We went to chuckecheese for his birthday. He loves it there. I swear this kid lives to play games. His bday was on a wednesday and that is when we opened presents and I made his cake, don't make fun. It was all I could come up with. He wanted Spiderman so I used black halloween sprinkles to decorate it. (I had no car, Shane was at work and mine is totaled) He loved it! Then Saturday we went to chuck e cheesin'. That is what Hagen calls it. My mom and Karla, Jastin, and Jenner surprised us on thursday so we had so much fun!

Our first snow storm we had I decided we would venture to Boise. Hagen had an appt to get his 4yr pics taken and we needed to do some angel tree shopping. It snowed all morning and then the roads were clear as we made our way to boise. When we were almost there the roads got worse and worse. We slowed quite a bit. Then a car spun out (literally doing donuughts) on the freeway. When we went to slow down we couldn't and slide right into the car next to us. It was the scariest thing that had ever happened to us. As you can tell our car was totaled. I was pretty bummed cuz I really loved our CRV. We did come out on top cuz we got way more than what Kelly blue book told us our car was worth.

I don't think that I have ever mentioned that I am in a sewing group. It is one of our groups for church. I was never really into sewing but I have really enjoyed learning. I made these pj's for my boys. They are supposed to be for christmas but they don't know the difference so they will probably get them now. Hagen won't take his off. Why are they wearing them now do you ask? I had to try them on to make sure they fit. So Merry Christmas boys!

Halloween

Instead of carving pumpkins I bought little pegs you stick in the pumpkin and put a light inside and the light shines though the pegs. Hagen LOVED it. It was perfect for him. He hammered in all the little pegs himself. We had a good Halloween. We went to Pocatello cuz Shane's niece was baptized and then went to g-ma and g-pas trunk or treat.

Hagen learned these songs in Joy School. He really loves the witch song. I took these the day of school but we listened to them a lot more before Halloween and he knows the witch one perfect now!

So Hagen loves the movie The Letter Factory. He watched it pretty much the whole time in the car my last trip to and from Utah. Therefore, Jensen gets to watch it also. When my 15month old knows the show by heart then maybe they have seen it to much. He hasn't said his first word yet, just his first sentence. Enjoy! (I do)

We visited the graves on Memorial Day, it was nice I haven't done that since High School. Hagen fell asleep on the way and I put him down thinking he would wake up and he stayed asleep. Yea, he is really asleep in that pic. Silly boy!

Ferry Ride

We took a Ferry ride. You might think it is for kids but i had fun. We had about 45 min on the island before the ferry went back so we found shells and crabs and even a starfish on the beach. I think I liked it more than the kids. It's not everyday you see the ocean.

We went down to beach that is like 5 minutes from my sisters house. We walked along the boardwalk and found shells on the shore. The park is a huge park with a little lake right next to it. So fun. It made me wish for just a sec that my kids were there.

I went to Seattle the beginning of May for Mauri's baptism and To see my newest niece, Avry Jo get blessed. She was two weeks old when we got there and so tiny and cute. These pics are of Mauri on her baptism day and of my sister Kami's family. Mauri asked me to give a talk on Baptism. It was so fun to be there with her.

Ok, so I read the books a while ago and saw the movie a couple times when it came out. I didn't know what to think of the movie and have been wanting to read the books again. They got lost for a while in the move but I found them the other day and read Twilight. A couple of my friends came over last night to watch the movie with me again, and I still don't know what to think. It bugs that they added parts that didn't happen and left out some good stuff. And what is with the Cullen's house? I need to vent and Shane is gone, not that he would care anyway. What do you think?

Well Shane left yesterday:( He went back to Kuwait. Why? I don't really know. I guess it is part of training, they call it an exercise. Whatever, i call it rude and a waste of money. He will only be gone for 4 weeks, but still. He was picked by the commander to go so I guess it is a compliment that he is a hard worker. I have a trip planned to go to Seattle. My sister just had her 4th baby girl, Avry and they are blessing her on Sunday and my niece Mauri is getting baptized on Saturday. I am so excited to go see them. That will help the time go by faster while Shane is gone.

We attended a friends 30th birthday party. The theme was the 80's and we went roller skating. It was a blast. I am glad i was born then and didn't have to dress like this everyday.

Shane got home on Valentines Day! We love having him home. Jensen took right to him and especially his hat. Hagen would not let him leave his side, not even to go to sleep. Shane had to sleep with Hagen until he fell asleep for the first week or so. The day Shane got home Hagen cried when Shane went to the bathroom cuz he didn't want his daddy to leave again.

His party was postponed cuz we were at the doctor's office. I don't know what it is but my kids are always sick and it always ends with an ear infection. He left his party early to take a nap.

Hagen was always so quick to help Jensen open his presents. The only reason why he wasn't helping on that present is cuz he was opening his own. Did you know my son is obsessed with guns? That face is perfect! At my parents it is tradition to play the chimes on Christmas Eve. The kids love it but the parents aren't so crazy about that tradition.

Hagen had a Blue's Clue's Birthday. I tried to talk him into Diego but he insisted on Blue's Clues. It was a fun day. He just invited his cousins. They decorated notebooks, looked for clues, opened presents and ate cake. Yes I made the cake. It was pretty easy but what made it the best was that Hagen loved his paw print cake!

Hi, it's me! I am still alive! I know it has been forever, but I am just barely getting adjusted to living here in Utah and now it is about time to leave. I talk to Shane every night, he is doing great, and when I am done I just want to get off the computer. We are doing pretty good except we miss our daddy. He comes home in a month! or 4 weeks, that sounds shorter to me. We had a wonderful Christmas so I thought I would share some of our favorites.

OK, I know it has been a whole month and I have had requests of knowing what is going on in our lives and where we are. Shane left Monday the 15th and is now in Kuwait. He works the night shift at the fitness center there. That is exactly the job and shift he wanted. His living conditions aren't to bad and I get to talk to him with our web cameras everynight. I love technology! Me and the boys are in Utah. We packed up our house in Montana and just found out we won't be living there anymore. Shane got orders to go to Mountain Home AFB. It is close to Boise ID. We are excited to move closer to our families. We will move there when Shane gets back in Feb. As a side note, Shane took my camera with him and I ordered a new one and am waiting for it to come. It drives me crazy not having a camera. I feel like I am missing out on Jensen growing up.

It's moving time. Hagen had so much fun when we brought the boxes home. It brought him hours of fun! I was a little worried about finding boxes but that was put to rest quickly cuz we just got a ton of new families in the ward and they were all more that willing to get rid of their boxes.

For those that don't know, Shane will be deploying again in Sept. He is going to Kuwait. He will be gone for 5 months but they told him there is a good possibility that it will get extended while he is there. I am going home (Utah) to stay with my family while he is gone. I created this blog mostly so we can stay in touch while he is gone. You might think I am sending every picture I take and that is probably the case. Shane likes to see new pictures everyday while he is gone. He used to get on me all the time for not sending them fast enough last time. I will do my best this time, so I hope you don't get sick of all the silly things I post.

We went to the Childrens museum last week. Hagen loved the Little log cabin. Every time I tried to take a picture he went into the cabin and smiled. The Museum was kindof ghetto, but Hagen had a lot of fun.
